Meet Jaimeika!

Nashua Mom, Community Advocate, Emerging Young Leader

I’m a proud NH native and Nashua parent, nonprofit professional, and community health advocate. My life’s work has always centered on creating opportunities for children and families, advancing equity, and building programs that leave a lasting impact. Over the years, I’ve led hundreds of volunteers, served on local councils, and partnered with organizations to expand access, inclusion, and resources for Nashua families.

Why I’m Running?

Every child deserves a school where they’re seen, challenged, and set up to thrive.

My daughter inspires me every day. As a student with a learning disability and an athlete, she has taught me the importance of advocacy and goal setting. I understand the importance of special education/ IEP services, teacher retention, and providing inclusive spaces.

Our schools reflect the strength of our community.

  • Students deserve confidence and creativity.

  • Teachers deserve respect and resources.

  • Families deserve open communication and real partnership.

Experience

For nearly a decade I’ve worked in nonprofit and healthcare leadership: building programs, engaging volunteers, and creating inclusive, collaborative teams.

  • Direct service and case management

  • Collaborating with equity workgroups and statewide event planning committees

  • Coaching youth sports and mentoring young leaders

  • Serving on HR and health education councils

  • Vice-Chair, Greater Nashua Continuum of Care Employment Committee

  • Co-Chair, Harbor Care Diversity & Inclusion Committee

  • Organizing community and social justice events

Through these roles, I’ve built coalitions, championed equity, and developed solutions that center people first.

A Voice for Opportunity!

Meet My Family

We’re a big sports family! Sports have been a way for us to build friendships, learn discipline, and stay active together. Involved with youth wrestling, little league baseball, and basketball.

Every year, we enjoy the fireworks at Holman Stadium and take part in the city’s winter and summer strolls. Our favorite is Hayward’s Ice Cream, and we’ve been known to spend a lot of time at the Nashua Public Library. We also enjoy sketching, painting, and attending community events where we can connect with neighbors.
