Hi, my name is Jaimeika
I’m a proud Nashua parent, New Hampshire native, nonprofit professional, and community health advocate. My work has always centered on creating opportunities for children and families, strengthening equity, and building programs that leave a lasting impact. I’ve led hundreds of volunteers, served on local councils, and worked alongside community partners to improve access, inclusion, and resources for Nashua families.

I’m running because I believe Nashua’s schools must be safe, supportive, and inclusive places where every student can reach their full potential. For me, this work isn’t new, it’s already part of my everyday life.
As the mom of a daughter with a learning disability, I’ve been a consistent advocate for her academic and social needs, and I know firsthand how much families rely on schools that listen, adapt, and provide resources. That experience has fueled my passion to ensure every child, regardless of background or circumstance, has the tools and support to succeed.
I’m also running because Nashua’s schools reflect the strength of our community, and the decisions made by the Board shape not only classrooms but the future of our city. Our students deserve schools that inspire confidence, creativity, and resilience; our teachers deserve the resources and respect to excel; and our families deserve a Board that communicates openly and works in partnership with them.

For nearly a decade, my career has focused on healthcare and nonprofit leadership — building programs, engaging volunteers, and creating inclusive, collaborative cultures. I’ve served through direct patient care, case management, committee leadership, and athletic coaching, always with the goal of uplifting others and strengthening our community. My leadership experience includes service on regional equity workgroups, NH state event planning committees, human resource councils, community healthcare education committees, and as Vice-Chair of the Greater Nashua Continuum of Care Employment Committee. I also served as Co-Chair of Harbor Care’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and have organized social justice events that celebrate and honor community leaders.
As a mom of a current student, community health worker, and non-profit leader, I bring both professional expertise and personal passion to ensure Nashua’s schools are well-resourced today and ready for tomorrow. Serving on the School Board is the next step in work I’ve been doing for years — building coalitions, creating equitable solutions, and championing transparency — but now with the responsibility and platform to ensure that student success is always at the center of every decision.
Meet My Family

> Hayward’s Ice Cream is our family favorite!
> We’re regulars at the Nashua Public Library, we enjoy sketching and painting, and you can find us at most community events.
> My daughter inspires me daily. As a student with a learning disability and athlete, she has taught me the importance of advocacy, goal-setting, and ensuring every child has the support they need to thrive.
